This is not the official Louisa May Alcott site. The official site is Orchard House's site at http://www.louisamayalcott.org .

Orchard House

Orchard House is open year-round and offers tours, educational programs, and social events related to Louisa May Alcott and 19th century Concord. They also have a museum shop and offer memberships to Orchard House. Their Web site contains biographical information about each member of the Alcott family and a "virtual tour" of Orchard House.

There is also an arm of the Orchard House that's geared toward grade-school and high-school students. Called the "Scrap-Baggers," they have been very generous with their newsletter articles and information; so much so that I've given them their own page.
